We are Jon Lausteen & the Donkees - a sensational live band based in Bodø. What started as a project born out of pure curiosity quickly evolved into a powerhouse on stage. We carry the sound of brand-new music from Bodø, navigating a landscape of alternative rock with distinct elements of classic Americana, funk, pop, and soul.

The band is led by our frontman and stage commander, Jon Lausteen – a well-known figure in the local music scene – and the Donkees, the backing duo that fuels the songs with drive, power, and passion.
